How do I book 2jazzguitars & what is the process for booking?
You save the
date and time by signing our contract and paying a 50% deposit. We we will email or snail-mail you two copies of our contract. You will keep one
for your records, and sign and return the other back to us by mail, along with
your deposit check (or money order). The remainder of the balance will be due
on or before the day of the event.
When is the
appropriate time to book?
It is
recommended that you book as far ahead as possible to insure our availability.
Do you have a
minimum time for bookings?
1-2 hours,
depending on the type of performance, date, and location.
What is the
cost?
Cost depends
on the type of event, length of booking and your event location. Our fees are
extremely reasonable. We believe that everyone should be able to afford live
music for their special occasion. Contact us for a cost quote for your event. You
will be pleasantly surprised how affordable great live music can be!
How is payment
made?
We accept
credit cards, checks, or cash.
Do you travel?
Gladly.The
fee for traveling depends on the distance and the amount of time that must be
allowed to ensure timely arrival at your venue. There is no fee to travel to
venues within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area.
Do you play
out of doors?
Yes. However, because
our instruments and equipment are sensitive and valuable, they must be
protected from direct sunshine or wet weather. We must have adequate shelter
and the playing area must be covered and level (if outside).
How will the
musicians be dressed?
Corporate
casual, relaxed casual, coat and tie, dark suit and of course, tuxedo… just let
us know what is required. You can be assured that we will dress appropriately
to fit in with your event.
Anything else
I should know?
We require one
15-minute break per hour of service.
